How to Recognise the Burai Notetaker in a Meeting

What the Burai Notetaker is called and what it looks like when it joins, so everyone in the meeting knows what it is.

When Burai records a meeting, it joins as a participant with its own name and
picture. Everyone in the call sees it, including guests from outside your
organisation, so it helps to know what you are looking at.

Steps

  1. Look for the Notetaker in the participant list.
    It appears as AI Notetaker, followed by your organisation's name and the
    name of whoever scheduled the meeting. Notetaker bot names become “AI Notetaker + tenant name + (meeting scheduler's full name)”, capped at 100 characters.

  2. Read the name to see who invited it.
    The name in brackets is the person who scheduled the meeting, not the person
    speaking.

  3. Tell guests what it is.
    External guests see the same name, so it is worth mentioning that it is
    recording and taking notes.

Notes / Tips

  • Very long organisation or personal names are shortened, so the name you see
    may be cut off.

  • The picture may differ between organisations; some use their own branding.
