This release introduces significant enhancements to task management and scheduling, introducing subtasks, dependencies between tasks and improved Gantt chart functionalities. Users can now benefit from dynamic task indicators, streamlined email notifications, alongside various onboarding improvements. Features and Improvements

  • A dedicated Subtasks section is introduced with an intuitive way to add and manage subtasks directly within a task.

  • Dependencies section is added in the task details view, allowing users with editor access to add, view, and manage dependencies, including clear relationship types.

  • Gantt view enhancements include support for adding dependencies by dragging, visual improvements, and editable date fields.

  • Completed tasks are non-editable in the Gantt view, with empty categories hidden for better clarity.

  • Task cards and Kanban cards now display dynamic indicators for subtasks, dependencies, and comments across platforms.

  • Editing restrictions are enforced for tasks with dependencies, with subtasks remaining editable in the modal view.

  • The task prioritization algorithm has been refined to consider task priority, due date, and creator role.

  • Email notifications are now limited to virality-related alerts, reducing unnecessary notifications.

  • Onboarding now features guided walkthroughs or video tutorials, enhancing user learning and engagement.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed issue where the file picker for uploading attachments to a task did not close after uploading.

  • Resolved issue preventing task creation from the Outlook Add-in.

  • Addressed incorrect task prioritization by the Burai smart algorithm, ensuring blocker tasks are prioritized correctly.
