How to Resolve Missing Calendar Consent for Meetings (Admin vs. Non‑Admin)

Updated this week

Burai Meetings only works after your organization grants calendar consent. Until then, the Meetings page shows an empty state to guide next steps. Domain admins can grant consent.

Steps

  1. Open Meetings.

Go to Meetings from the left sidebar.

  2. Review the empty state.

You’ll see the same illustration and message for all users:

“Make your team meetings more efficient! Burai AI Bot automatically joins your meetings and prepares everything you need afterward: a clear summary, full recording, and Burai tasks. You focus on the conversation while Burai takes care of everything else."

  3. Learn more (all users).

Click Learn more to open the Learn More modal.

  4. Grant consent (domain admins only).

If you’re a Microsoft domain admin, click Grant consent to go to Admin panel > Consents.

  5. Non‑admins: know next steps.

If you aren’t a domain admin, you’ll see:

“Before you can start using Meetings, the setup needs to be completed by your domain admin.”

Notes / Tips

  • The empty state appears only until calendar consent is granted.

  • Once consent is granted, the Meetings experience loads normally on your next visit.

Summary / Next Steps: If you’re an admin, use Grant consent. Otherwise, contact your domain admin and use Learn more to understand benefits.
