1 April 2026: Updated meeting controls, task management and DLM visibility (v.2.1.5)

Release summary:

This release adds new ways to manage meetings, tasks, and document comparisons. Users can now control recording and note-sharing settings more clearly, and work with cleaner task assignment options. DLM and Files also gain improvements that make version comparison, search, and anchor management easier to use.

Features and improvements:

Admin Page

• Users who belong to one organization now move into it automatically after login, reducing extra steps.

• First-time admins now follow a guided setup flow that helps them create an organization and grant the required Microsoft permissions.

• Non-admin users now see clearer guidance during setup when Microsoft integrations require admin action.

App Usability

• Scrolling now stops more naturally in the app when using a touchpad.

Copilot

• Copilot now continues searching for relevant information when the answer is outside the currently selected source.

• Copilot now has the knowledge of the users meeting and can be questioned about the meeting summaries, topics, takeaways.

Data Bridge

• Users now see a more reliable experience when Data Bridge connects to external services.

Files

• Users can now track changes in Word documents with text-based anchors.

• Users can delete anchors from a task through a click action with confirmation.

Meetings

• All meeting participants can now update assignee and reviewer fields on meeting tasks.

  • Introduced a new global bot‑selection logic that prioritizes the meeting organizer’s Burai settings above all others—ensuring the organizer fully controls when a bot is auto‑scheduled.

• Meeting header now include a Start Recording button that allows users to invite a bot to join and record meetings that are about to begin or are already in progress and not being recorded.

  • Meetings listing now have two tabs: My calendar (default) and Shared with me, separating meetings from the user’s own calendar from meetings shared with them after they took place.

• Users can set the auto-record control directly from a meeting card instead of the meeting header.

• Auto-share meeting notes now uses Only me instead of No one.

• Users can limit Burai Notetaker to join meetings where all participants belong to their domain.

• Meeting recap emails now use a shorter subject line that shows the meeting title first.

• Meeting recording previews now show a custom thumbnail instead of a black screen.

• Meeting tasks now respect viewer access when choosing assignees and reviewers.

  • Users can now see meetings starting within the next 10 minutes in the Meetings list and details.

Task Management

• My To-Do now appears as My Tasks throughout the app.

• Users can filter tasks by Meeting in the source type filters.

• Users can now delete unassigned subtasks created from Data Bridge tasks.

• Task activity now includes an update when a task title changes.

• Users now see a clearer notification when a restored subtask returns.

• The daily update email now presents task information in a clearer layout.

Bug fixes:

Comments

• Fixed comment replies so they appear in the thread as expected.

Data Bridge

• Fixed Data Bridge task creation so tasks created from comments show the correct creator.

• Fixed the Data Bridge edit flow so Save changes behaves correctly when nothing has changed.

DLM

• Fixed DLM compare so overlay mode works correctly for PDF files with one version.

• Fixed DLM file browsing so working copy folders no longer appear in My Files.

Files

• Fixed collaborator profile pictures so they display correctly in the list view.

• Fixed published document icons so they appear next to tasks in Home widgets.

• Fixed archived file menus so they show the correct available actions.

• Fixed file tasks so PDF source labels display correctly.

• Fixed annotation loading so documents without annotations open normally.

Meetings

• Fixed meeting tasks so external participants can be selected as reviewers and assignees when allowed.

• Fixed meeting visibility so all participants can see their meetings and meeting output.

• Fixed meeting lists so cancelled or deleted meetings disappear on time.

• Fixed meeting summaries so they appear under the correct date.

• Fixed the meeting control bar so it no longer covers the last task in the list.

Notifications

• Fixed task assignment so removed organization members do not remain available as assignees.

Task Management

• Fixed task grouping so the empty state no longer overlaps grouped tasks.

• Fixed the without due date filter so it returns the correct task list.

• Fixed Notetaker subtasks so they show the correct icon in task widgets.

• Fixed task attachments so newly assigned users can access them when they open the task.

No Functional Area

• Fixed a connection flow issue so external service requests continue to retry when needed.
