How to Connect Your Microsoft Mailbox in Burai

Connect your own Microsoft mailbox so the Email AI Agent turns new email into tasks automatically, with nothing to forward or refresh.

Connecting your Microsoft mailbox lets the Email AI Agent read new mail as it arrives and create tasks from it. You grant access once, and Burai keeps reading in the background — there is nothing to forward and no page to refresh.

Steps

  1. Open your Email AI Agent settings.
Go to User Profile > Email AI Agent Settings.

  2. Start the connection.
Choose the option to connect your mailbox.

  3. Sign in to Microsoft and approve access.
Microsoft asks you to sign in and confirm that Burai may read your mail.
Approve the request to return to Burai.

  4. Confirm the mailbox is connected.
Your mailbox is listed as connected once consent completes.

  5. Choose what creates tasks.
Pick the folders and senders the agent should act on. See
How to Configure Email AI Agent: Folders, Senders & Auto-Creation.

Notes / Tips

  • New task from mail reaches Burai within seconds of arriving. You do not need to keep Burai open for tasks to be created.

  • Consent covers your own mailbox only. Connecting yours does not give Burai access to anyone else's mail.

  • Tasks are created only from the folders and senders you selected, so an email from a blocked sender produces no task.

  • Burai maintains the connection on its own, so a mailbox you connected once keeps working without you reconnecting it.

Summary / Next Steps

Once your mailbox is connected, the Email AI Agent works from new mail on its own. Set your folders and senders next so it creates tasks only from the mail you care about.
