How to Grant Organization‑Wide Calendar Consent (Admin > Consents)

Updated this week

Domain admins enable Burai Meetings for everyone by granting org‑wide calendar consent in the Admin panel. A Microsoft permissions popup completes the approval.

Steps

  1. Open Admin > Consents.
Go to Admin panel > Consents and find Meetings setup (below MS Outlook connection and Projects setup).

  2. Review the copy.
    You’ll see:
“To start using Burai Meetings you need to grant the application access to your calendar on behalf of your organization. This ensures Burai Meetings can access your events.”

  3. Start consent.
Click Grant consent to open the Microsoft permissions popup. (Non‑admins see the button disabled with tooltip “Available only to domain administrators.”)

  4. Choose Accept or Cancel.

  • Accept: You’re redirected to Meetings, and the section updates to Consent granted.

  • Cancel: You return to Consents and the button remains Grant consent.

Notes / Tips

  • “Consent granted” shows a checkmark and persists after approval.

  • try again here doesn’t change existing consent; it helps confirm org‑wide scope.

Summary / Next Steps: Approve in the Microsoft popup, then return to Meetings—users can begin first‑time calendar sync on their next visit.
