Burai marks every email it has created a task from with a category called Burai Task Created. Outlook only shows categories that exist in your own mailbox, so the label stays hidden until you add it. You add it once, and from then on it appears on those emails on its own.
Steps
Open the Microsoft Outlook desktop app.
Right-click any email.
Any message will do. You are creating the category here, not tagging that particular email.Choose Categorise.
Select Manage Categories.
Click the plus button.
It sits below the list of existing categories.Type the name Burai Task Created.
Enter it exactly like that (Burai Task Created), with capital letters on each word. Outlookcmatches the label by its name, so a different spelling shows nothing.Pick a colour.
Any colour works — it is how the label will look in your message list.Click Create.
Go back to your inbox.
Emails that Burai has created a task from now carry the Burai Task
Created label. Open Burai to see the tasks themselves.
Notes / Tips
Older emails are labelled too. The category applies to mail Burai handled
before you added it, so your existing inbox fills in as well — not only mail
that arrives from now on.The label tells you a task already exists for that email, so you do not need
to create one yourself.Emails without the label have not been turned into tasks.
Summary / Next Steps
Once the category exists, Outlook shows the label without any further work from
you. Open Burai when you want to act on the tasks behind those emails.
