How to Use Departments on Home in Burai

The Departments section on the Home page provides a visual overview of all your active departments, allowing you to quickly track progress and task status.


Each department is displayed as a card with key information, including the department name, owner, and a colored progress indicator. The progress bar shows overall completion percentage, while additional icons display the number of overdue, due today, and upcoming tasks, helping you assess workload at a glance.

You can also use the controls at the top (Favorites, Filter, Sort, View, Hide) to organize and customize how departments are displayed.


Steps:

  1. Go to Home → Departments.

  2. Review your departments displayed as cards.

  3. Check the progress indicator on each card to see completion status.

  4. Scan task indicators:

    • Red: Overdue tasks

    • Yellow: Due today

    • Green: Upcoming tasks

  5. Click + Create to add a new department (enter name and privacy settings).

  6. Click on any department card to open its Overview, where you can manage tasks, files, and communication.
