Updated over a week ago

This release introduces several enhancements to meetings, task management, and user interface clarity. Users can now benefit from improved meeting summaries tailored to the meeting type, inline video playback in Tasks, and full media controls in full-screen mode. Cancelled, deleted, or declined meetings are automatically excluded from the meeting list, while Burai Copilot now remembers each user’s preferred visibility state across sessions. Task management improvements include clean, structured task descriptions from Data Bridge, the ability to leave tasks unassigned, clearer activity logs with distinct subtasks, and enhanced anchor visibility and management. The Compare feature and DLM tab have been upgraded for flexible side-by-side version comparisons, improved navigation, and better handling of working copies and folder structures.

  • Task descriptions generated by Data Bridge now follow a clean, structured formatting standard.

  • After successfully creating a new organization, admins are now redirected to the Admin Panel Consents page.

  • Changed anchor color from blue to yellow when they lose their reference, making it easy to identify floating anchors that can be reused or deleted.

  • Updated Activity logs to clearly distinguish subtasks from regular tasks. Subtasks are now labeled as “Subtask” instead of “Task” to improve clarity and avoid confusion in the Activity section.

  • Refactored Compare feature (merge removed) – Reused existing logic to enable clean side-by-side and overlay comparisons without merge functionality.

  • Flexible version comparison – Compare Published Parents and Working Copies in any combination across the full folder structure.

  • New Compare view in DLM tab – Accessible via three-dot menu; opens side-by-side view (default “Compared” mode), with Export disabled in compare mode.

  • Improved DLM visibility & structure handling – Enhanced initial structure view and highlighting of the last unpublished version (working copy source), improved navigation to the latest working copy on load, and initiated review of working copy limits (incl. potential follow-up for version cap handling).

  • Anchor state clarity (Blue vs Yellow) – Anchors now turn yellow when they lose their reference (floating state), can be reattached via drag-and-drop, and support direct keyboard deletion without closing the task.

  • Leftover anchor handling & delete flow – Added missing-reference indicator with tooltip and new “Delete task” shortcut, triggering the standard confirmation modal when original anchor targets are removed.

  • Removed “Preview version” from add-in – Eliminated unreliable in-add-in preview functionality (including restore flows) to improve stability, reduce confusion, and ensure a more consistent document version experience.

  • Updated the “Shared With Me” folder to display an informational message clarifying that the file view in Burai may differ from OneDrive and may not show all shared files.

  • Updated copy and publish actions for password-protected Microsoft 365 files to display an informational modal. Users are now prompted to enter the file password when attempting to copy or publish a protected file, with clear guidance for retrying, cancelling, or handling maximum attempts.

  • Data Bridge will no longer extract tasks from pre‑meeting emails that list preparation steps or agenda items.

  • Fixed missing “Tasks without dates” section on the Timeline for files, ensuring tasks without dates are displayed correctly in the right timeline sidebar.

  • Fixed issue where duplicate notifications were generated after a subtask was deleted, ensuring only a single notification is created per deletion action.

  • Fixed issue preventing users with the Viewer role from creating tasks on published files shared with them, ensuring they can add tasks while retaining Viewer permissions.

  • Fixed issue where replies to comments were not visible, ensuring all comment replies are displayed correctly in the thread section.
