How to Create Separate Tasks for Multiple Assignees

When a task applies to several people, you can create identical tasks-each assigned to a single person-in one go.

Steps

  1. Start creating a task.
    Click Create task from Home or Tasks page. The task details open on the right.

  2. Add 2 or more assignees in “Assigned to.”
    Once you add more than one, you’ll see a checkbox with an informative message and an info label.

  3. Enable the checkbox.
    Burai will create separate tasks—one per assignee—with all the same fields except Assigned to.

  4. Hover the info label for details.
    Read the tooltip so you know exactly what will happen.

  5. Click Create task.
    Burai may show a spinner while creating all tasks. You’ll see a toast showing the number of tasks created.


    Each assignee receives a notification (e.g., “Jane Doe created a task in…”).

Failure Handling

  • If anyone task fails, none is created.

  • The task preview sidebar remains open with all your inputs retained.

  • An error toast appears at the top; click Create task again to retry.
