You can quickly see every task created from a specific comment, expand a compact list, and jump straight into task details without losing your place. This keeps discussion and follow‑up work connected.
Steps
Open the comment.
From a task, open Comments (task preview sidebar or modal).Expand the tasks list.
On the comment, hover over and click the Tasks button (e.g., 2 tasks). A list appears showing Task name, Status, Due date, and Assignee(s).
Add a due date if missing.
If the due date is empty, click the (empty) due date field to open the date picker and select a date.Open a task without changing context.
Click a task in the list to open its details in the same view:If you’re in the preview sidebar, it opens there.
If you’re in the task modal, it opens in a modal.
Collapse when finished.
Use the arrow to collapse or expand the tasks list as needed.Open the thread when needed.
Open an existing reply thread by clicking the replies count or the Reply button above the comment.
Notes
Everyone who can see the task can React, Reply, and use the three‑dot menu; only the comment’s creator can Delete the comment.
Only the due date field is clickable in the list; other fields are view‑only.
Summary / Next Steps: Use the Tasks button on a comment to see all derived tasks and open them in place. Add missing due dates directly from the list to keep work on schedule.
