How to Use the Project Board in Burai

Track a project's tasks in columns by status, and move them along by dragging a card.

The Board shows every task in a project as a card, grouped into columns by status. It is the quickest way to see what is in flight and to move work forward without opening each task.

Steps

  1. Open the Board.
    Go to your project and select the Board tab.

  2. Read the columns.
    Tasks are grouped by status, such as Open, In progress and For
    review
    .

  3. Read a card.
    Each card shows the task ID, who it is assigned to, its title and its due
    date.

  4. Move a task along.
    Drag a card into another column to change its status.

  5. Narrow the view.
    Use the filter and sort controls at the top, or switch to My Tasks to see
    only what is assigned to you.

  6. Add work from here.
    Use Create task to add a task, or Invite team to bring someone in.

Notes / Tips

  • Dragging a card is the same as changing the task's status, so the change is
    visible to everyone with access.

  • The task counts on the project's Overview tab each have a filter, which
    is a faster route when you only want overdue work.
