How to Start Recording When the Meeting AI Agent Fails to Join

If the Meeting AI Agent never makes it into your meeting, you can still invite it by hand from the meeting in Burai.

A Meeting AI Agent scheduled for your meeting waits to be admitted. If nobody lets it in within 20 minutes of the scheduled start, it gives up and leaves. You can still record the meeting by inviting an agent by hand.

Steps

1. Check that no agent is waiting.

While a scheduled Meeting AI Agent is still sitting in the waiting room, the Start

recording button is hidden - admit the one that is already there instead of inviting a

second. The button reads Admit Meeting AI Agent from the lobby while one is waiting.

2. Open the meeting in Burai.

Go to Meetings and open the meeting that is in progress.

3. Click Start recording.

The button appears once the scheduled agent has left, timed out, or been removed from the meeting. The button then shows Meeting AI Agent is joining... while a new one is invited.

4. Admit it in your meeting.

Let the Meeting AI Agent in from the meeting's waiting room. Recording starts once it joins.

Notes / Tips

- Only one Meeting AI Agent can wait to be admitted at a time, so Start recording stays hidden while one is already waiting.

- A scheduled agent that never joined does not count as a recording, so it does not stop you starting one by hand.

- You cannot invite an agent once the meeting's scheduled end time has passed, even if people are still talking. Start it before then.

- Admit the agent promptly. Left in the waiting room for 20 minutes from the scheduled start, it drops out and you are back to inviting one by hand.
