Tasks Without Dates

  • Tasks without a due date appear in the left sidebar, but not on the timeline.

  • You can assign a due date by clicking the empty date field and selecting a date from the picker. The task will then appear in the Gantt chart immediately.

  • Task display rules:

    • Due date only: Task appears as a single marker.

    • Start + Due date: Task appears as a bar spanning the full duration.

    • Start date only: Task does not appear in the timeline.

Subtasks in the Gantt

  • Subtasks are grouped beneath their parent tasks in the sidebar.

  • Subtasks are ordered by their creation date.

  • Expand/collapse parent tasks to show or hide subtasks.

  • Subtasks without due dates appear at the end of their parent’s list and are not shown on the timeline.

  • If a parent task is collapsed, dependency lines from its subtasks to external tasks are hidden, but the logic still applies in the background.
