The goal of task anchors is to guide users directly to the exact location of a task within a file. This feature ensures that users can clearly identify relevant content for each task.

Functionality Breakdown
Plugin task Creation
The plugin task creation process allows users to highlight text within a file and create a task using an add-on (Google) or add-in (Microsoft). Once the task is created, the user can navigate (navigation will be explained in the following chapters) directly to the highlighted section, ensuring a seamless workflow.
โa) Highlight the text and click "Create Task" in Burai Add-in to take assignees directly to the relevant part.
b) Fill in the task details - enter details such as assignee, priority, due date, and other relevant information.
c) Task successfully created - the task is automatically added to Burai and synced in both the Add-in and web app.
Task anchor creation in Burai web app
The task anchor creation in Burai allows users to highlight text or an annotation within the file. In editable files, such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, users can highlight text or objects and create tasks using Apryse functionality. In non-editable files, users can either highlight (if the content in the files can be highlighted precisely pdf and cad files) or add an annotation on the selected spot in the file.
