How to Create and Use Task Anchors in Burai

Anchors take teammates directly to the exact spot in a file (highlight or annotation). You can create them in the add‑in/add‑on or in the web app.

  1. In Office/Google: highlight text or select an object, then open Create task in the add‑in/add‑on and complete the form.

  2. In Web (Apryse viewer):

    1. Highlight text and click Create Task, or

    2. Click Annotate, click a point in the file, then create the task.

  3. After creation, clicking the task navigates to the anchor and highlights the content.

  4. If you cancel task creation, the temporary anchor is removed.

  5. If a PowerPoint anchor gets deleted later, Burai shows an info message so you know why it’s missing.

Notes
