Inside the My Files and Shared with Me folders, users will find several sorting options, along with two additional buttons: 'Upload' and 'View as,' to help manage and organize their view.
1. Upload: By clicking this button, the user can select files using Google or Microsoft picker. Clicking uploads the file to the folder the user is currently in Burai. For the MS file picker, when the user clicks ‘Upload,’ they must then click ‘Upload’ again in the upper right corner of their UI to proceed with uploading a file. For Google file picker, the upload section opens immediately. Uploading files is only for upload; files are not synced through this process.
2. Sort: This feature enables users to sort their files and folders by various criteria, such as Alphabetical, Latest Activity, and Oldest Activity. This is particularly useful when managing large volumes of data.
The default sorting for both connected drives (OneDrive & Google Drive) is ‘Alphabetical’, with folders displayed first, followed by files.
Sorting by 'Latest/Oldest activity' in the Microsoft environment returns a mix of files and folders, displaying the latest/oldest activity of all items within each folder.
Sorting by 'Latest/Oldest activity' in the Google environment lists folders first, followed by files, while also displaying the latest/oldest activity of all items within each folder.
3. View As: Users can switch between different views (list view, grid view) to adjust how files and folders are displayed on their screen, allowing them to choose a layout that best suits their workflow. For connected drives, the default view is List view.
