Filtering helps you focus on the right work across files and projects.

Steps

  1. Open a file or project.
Go to Files or Projects, then switch to Kanban or Gantt.

  2. Open Filter.
Click Filter to open the Filters sidebar on the right. You’ll see three people filters in this order: Assigned to, Creator, Reviewer.

  3. Use the default people lists.
Each of the three lists shows only users found in the first page of loaded tasks (20 tasks per column: Overdue, Due Today, Upcoming) and sorts them alphabetically.

  4. Search for more people (per filter).
Click Search under Assigned to, Creator, or Reviewer. Start typing in the field (e.g., Search for Assignee).

  5. Matching users (anyone with access to the file or project) appear with avatar + full name.

  6. Select a user to add them to the top of that list and auto‑select them. More added users are placed at the top in alphabetical order.

  7. If nothing matches, you’ll see No results found.

  8. Apply or reset filters.
Combine people filters with any other filters (e.g., Urgency, Priority) and click Apply. Click Reset to clear everything.

  9. Know what persists.
Filters stay active while you remain on the same File/Project page and when you switch between Kanban and Gantt. If you navigate elsewhere or close the app, all filters reset; returning shows the default, unfiltered view.

Notes

  • The initial people lists include only users from the first, preloaded set of tasks; users that appear only after you scroll can be added via Search.

Summary / Next Steps: Use Filter for all filtering on Kanban and Gantt. Start with the default lists, then add anyone else with Search. Your selections persist while you stay on the page and when switching views.
